I had the pleasure of attending CBN’s docudrama IN OUR HANDS on May 23. It sold out in many locations and has been scheduled for two encore presentations on June 1 and June 6.
I highly recommend this film to anyone interested in how the events of our lives fulfill Old Testament prophecy and will shape our future.
From the Fathom Events website, a brief description:
A CBN Documentaries Film
IN OUR HANDS
The Battle for Jerusalem
…In Our Hands: The Battle for Jerusalem, which marks the 50th anniversary of the Six-Day War… For centuries, their (Jewish) nation had been in exile. For a generation, they had been without access to their ancestral city. For six days, surrounded by enemies, Israel stood alone … and changed history.
In May of 1967, Arab nations joined together with a stated goal to wipe Israel off the map. Less than 20 years after reforming as a nation, Israel was on the verge of extinction. Yet six days in early June 1967 changed history forever.
In Our Hands tells the story of Israel’s 55th Paratrooper Brigade and how Israel’s Defense Forces risked everything for the sake of their homeland.
This film was a combination of historical footage and gorgeous dramatization with actors who looked remarkably like the old men they played–real men who were featured in intimate one-on-one interviews.
The film was compelling; the dramatization kept me on the edge of my seat. There were even brief moments of levity.
The film concluded with a brief talk by Gordon Robertson of The 700 Club, who discussed the significance of this historical event in light of Old Testament Bible prophecy. A subject of great interest to this writer.
If you are interested in attending one of the two encore presentations of this film, the first tonight, June 1, and the second on June 6, check out the Fathom Events website for theater details:
